I Wanna Know…

Before we all die from the winter-storm-of-the-century, I thought we should get to know each other a little better…So let me know:

1) Your name

2) If you blog, the title of your most read post so far this year (with the link)

3) If you don’t blog, you could let us know the best post you’ve read. Or you could let us in on your favorite cereal (check out my Tuesday’s Top 10 list of all-time favorite cereals HERE)

Happy Tuesday.

(Please include the links if you can – this may mean your comment doesn’t show up right away, but I’ll get it approved as soon as I see it).

    1. Keith, thanks for the heads up. Actually, you have done yourself a huge favor – if I would have read that, I would have had to hunt you down.

      1. Oh, and I’m a traditionalist. I like my Cap’n Crunch straight up original. No crunchberries, no peanut butter, no frills. Rockin’ it ol’ skool style!

    1. If you’re letting that guy guest post at your site, your standards must be pretty low.

I had you pegged as a Granola Girl.

    1. I’ve been able to get over the mini-van slight from a few weeks ago. The constant Steeler bashing is understandable. But you don’t eat cereal? Our friendship is approaching near-certain destruction (it remains salvaged by the fact that you bought me lunch).

        1. We need to set up a time for that – like many things in life, the only way I’ll know is to give it a shot…

      1. Shawn, I drive a minivan, too. So far, I’ve gotten no criticisms, only compliments and moochers who want to borrow it to haul stuff when I take the seats out of it.

  1. 1) Alise Wright (and I blog at Alise…Write! — clever, huh?)

    B) I am trying very hard not to pay attention to stuff like stats, but a lot of people RT’ed & posted this on their Facebook pages last week (and that would be “a lot for me” not necessarily an ACTUAL lot of people): Tetelestai — http://www.alise-write.com/2011/01/tetelestai.html

?) I adored this post by @seekingpastor last week. http://seekingpastor.wordpress.com/2011/01/24/grace-and-fleece/

And I like Golden Grahams best. Though it’s been quite some time since I’ve actually had them.

  2. I’m not sure when I started following your tweets… but I continue to do so and find them entertaining.

*My most popular post in 2011 (of which there have only been seven)? Two comments from a college friend who compares the Arizona and Virginia Tech shootings:

“Quotable: A Virginia Tech perspective” (http://bit.ly/ek3ar2)

*My most popular post in 2010?

Guide to Japanese patterns: Sakura cherry blossom pattern and Larimer County’s last cherry orchard” (http://bit.ly/9E42A1)

    2. Don’t blog but people seem to find some of my FB statuses quite amusing

    3. a) Fave blog post would have been one of Shawn’s early ones about the move home to the basement. Fave recent reading that was actually a book but felt like a blog (style-wise): either The Upside of Irrationality by Dan Ariely or Being Wrong by Kathryn Schulz. And best newspaper column that reads like a blog – Tim Harford’s Undercover Economist, for the FT.

    b) Raison Bran. Closely followed by granola, luxury muesli and porridge (not all at the same time). LOVED Lucky Charms when occasionally came across them as a teen -but ate them dry, like sweeties. That’s the right way, isn’t it?

  5. 1. Renee

    2. Not currently blogging, but maybe starting soon. I have an interesting topic in mind ;)

    3. “Oops, I’ve lost my mind” – the ‘so I Married a deaf man’ series. She is hilarious. (sorry – couldn’t get the link to work right)

4.My fav cereal – cinnamon life – yum!
